A Special Thanks to 101.7 CHLY Radio and Rae Kornberger!

We, who make up Eye-On-Washington blogspot, want to thank Ms. Rae Kornberger, the host of "A Sense of Justice" broadcasted over 101.7 CHLY Vancouver Island University radio for allowing us to share with her and her audience our view of politics, and political events and topics that occur in the United States. She has interview us twice, thus far, and will bring us back to her show on a monthly basis to discuss what we do on this blog for an hour of talk.

A special thanks to you Rae!!!

Your friends in Pittsburgh, Carl and Jerry

Congrats guys, it's great to see you getting exposure!

I'd like an opinion on something.

Recently, $134.5 Billion in US bonds was recovered by Italy, who stands to receive 40% as a finders fee. As well, the TARP balance which was $134.5 Billion has been reported missing... apparently it's more like 36 billion... maybe less. I find this odd, especially since no nation seems to report being short $134.5 billion. I'd think the rightful owner would announce this shortage pretty d@mn quick.

The money was found in a false bottom suitcase... a transfer method I'm certain nations must employ when shipping such large sums. Those moving the funds were unguarded, again actions that fit a transfer of a meager $134.5Billion.

The funds were found in Italy, where the US just sealed a MAJOR deal with FIAT, something the Italian government might have expected a kickback on.

This seems more like organized crime and less like a legitimate windfall to me. It looks like an effort to move funds to Italy in such a fashion that Italy can use them instead of parking on the money.

Did we just witness in our face fraud by the US Government, or am I reading too much into this? What other probable explinations would you suggest?

Hello Ear2thewall, thanks so much for your kind words. We appreciate your comments, and time taken to read our blogspot.

I have not read about this bond theft. As we saw in Iraq, millions of dollars of cash, shipped on pallets, went missing. I believe it was around $50M went missing. It was considered walk-around cash. Now, actual bonds were found in a false-bottomed suitcase. It sounds like a movie script, but it is reality. Organized crime has taken over many of the financial institutions in Italy. The Italian government has been busting their so-called front operations posing as legitimate businesses. Banks are just one of their businesses. So, it wouldn't surprise me that a transfer of bond funds would find its way into a Mafia bank, and then, laundered. This might be what went on here.

Send a link on this, if you continue to follow the story. Thanks again.
