Mitt Romney Continues To Show Himself To Be A Sociopath

Romney jumped all over President Obama for violating “American Values” after the attack and murder of our diplomats in Libya, and the assault on our Egyptian embassy.

Slick Mitt railed against the president yet he, too, spoke about those same “American Values” which President Obama spoke about in spite of hailing vitriolic criticisms all over him. And, then he accused President Obama for the lack of “resolve”, in spite of the fact that Reagan and LilBoyBush saw attacks; therefore, they, too, must have lacked “resolve”. Romney makes no sense, whatsoever. This insane response shows, again, that he is a sociopath. He just spews stuff with no reality. His surrogates are saying that if we had a President Romney there would be no protests in the Middle East following an attack on our embassies because he would have shown “resolve” throughout his presidency. Where is the beef here, Mittens. Show us the beef. Give us examples how you have shown resolve. What we have seen are gaffs on your recent trips to Europe.

No resolve there or grace, for that matter!

Romney lacks grace, therefore, he shows dis-grace. Romney attacked Obama 6 hours BEFORE the U.S. embassy in Libya. 6 hours before there was a breech of this embassy Romney attacked Obama by saying that the president was apologetic and violated “American Values”.

In the eyes of Romney, lies and misrepresentations are “American Values.” Romney is not capable of apologizing for anything he does that is wrong—dead wrong. This shows clearly that he is a full blown sociopath!!!

By politicizing the deaths of foreign service officers without the facts, he demonstrated his sociopathic behaviors.

Romney, McCain, Ryan and other GOPsters have been accusing Obama of leading from behind, and his foreign policy judgment is weak and amateurish. Let us get it straight—Under LilBoyBush there were 12 attacks upon U.S. foreign embassies, and don’t forget the attack in the U.S. called “9/11”.

I am very sorry to have to say that McCain’s judgment is lacks credibility—he picked Sarah Palin as his vice presidential choice!!

Hey Slick Mitt, what about LilBoyBush apologizing around the world for America. Yes—Bush apologized while in Africa for America’s role in slavery. How about apologizing for what happened in Abu Ghraib prison? Obama has NOT done any world apologizing. He did infer that the attack on our embassy was related to anti-American feelings.

“It is unclear whether Stevens' death resulted from the broader anti-American protests or a separate, local plot against the ambassador, former State Department official James Rubin said.

Here is what President Obama said, “I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens…”

There were no apologies delivered in any message spoken by President Obama. Romney lies about it. Those are Romney’s American Values.

Romney actually said that if he misspeaks and lies, then he won’t spend anytime correcting those lies, but instead, will speak about the campaign issues. Romney is a sociopath!!

Paulnochccio also is a sociopath. He ranted about how Obama is leading from behind and that our military strength is the only language our enemies understand. Well Paulnochccio, did our military strength worked for us in Vietnam? Or, in Iraq? Or, now in Afghanistan against the Taliban and al-Qaeda?

It doesn’t seem to be working in these Islamic countries. Our force cannot stand up to violent hating, and radical Islamists who don’t believe in “American Values”, such as free speech, and a separation between church and state. They have no understanding of the difference between collective speech versus individual speech. Our collective speech did NOT support this 14 minute hateful Youtube video speaking against the religious prophet--Mohammed. I would have to say that the violent uprising is much more hateful than this crude 14 minute amateurish video. Nothing compares to killing four Americans in a violent way and destroying private property.

Finally, the right-wing radical nutcases, such as fundamentalist evangelical Christian former Army Lt. General William Boykin, and his pal Frank Gaffney incited Egyptians to attack Secretary of State Hillary Clinton because they wrote that she “was participating in a Muslim Brotherhood plot 'to penetrate our government'.” This statement written by them and posted on related websites had been read by Egyptians who then decided to attack the Clinton motorcade as she traveled through Alexandria, Egypt. They need to be held accountable for this.

Here is federal law on riots:

18 USC CHAPTER 102 - RIOTS                                  01/03/2012 (112-90)

-EXPCITE-
TITLE 18 - CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

or carrying on a riot or committing any act of violence in
      furtherance of a riot;

and who either during the course of any such travel or use or
thereafter performs or attempts to perform any other overt act for
any purpose specified in subparagraph (A), (B), (C), or (D) of this
    paragraph -  (!1)

Shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than five
    years, or both.
      (b) In any prosecution under this section, proof that a defendant

commerce, or (2) has use of or used any facility of interstate or
foreign commerce, including but not limited to, mail, telegraph,
telephone, radio, or television, to communicate with or broadcast
to any person or group of persons prior to such overt acts, such
travel or use shall be admissible proof to establish that such
defendant traveled in or used such facility of interstate or
    foreign commerce.

      (c) A judgment of conviction or acquittal on the merits under the
laws of any State shall be a bar to any prosecution hereunder for
    the same act or acts.
      (d) Whenever, in the opinion of the Attorney General or of the
appropriate officer of the Department of Justice charged by law or
under the instructions of the Attorney General with authority to
act, any person shall have violated this chapter, the Department
shall proceed as speedily as possible with a prosecution of such
person hereunder and with any appeal which may lie from any
decision adverse to the Government resulting from such prosecution.
      (e) Nothing contained in this section shall be construed to make
it unlawful for any person to travel in, or use any facility of,
interstate or foreign commerce for the purpose of pursuing the
legitimate objectives of organized labor, through orderly and
    lawful means.
      (f) Nothing in this section shall be construed as indicating an
intent on the part of Congress to prevent any State, any possession
or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia,
from exercising jurisdiction over any offense over which it would
have jurisdiction in the absence of this section; nor shall
anything in this section be construed as depriving State and local
law enforcement authorities of responsibility for prosecuting acts
that may be violations of this section and that are violations of
    State and local law.

Would anyone believe that both of these liars and fanatics could be considered traitors, or in violation of the above law and, therefore, should be investigated by the U.S. Attorney’s General for undermining the operations of the United States government?

And, in regards to “no apologies” I guess if Mitt Romney were the prime minister of Germany following the second war, he would not apologize for the genocide that occurred against the millions of Jews, gypsies, and gays, along with other persons that were exterminated by their own people.

President Obama Deserves A Second Term To Improve The Nation Just As Bush Got A Second Term To Destroy The Nation

Bain and Company was founded in 1973 and was near bankruptcy by 1993. It took 20 years before the founder and executives drained the profits from the business. In just only a few months, Romney got an FDIC bailout to the tune of $30M, while he scammed the FDIC into accepting a $20M haircut. The agency was paid back only $10M, while Romney rewarded his “people” bonuses using the bailout money. It took 10 years for this scenario to play out.

Romney meets the definition of a Confidence Man. Here is what it means: a swindler who exploits the confidence of his victim. In one case, he exploited the confidence of the FDIC.

Now, Romney wants to exploit the confidence of the American people with his lies, which appears to be truths.

Obama inherited the largest financial failure since The Great Depression brought to us by the reckless spending of LilBoyBush. LilBoy took 8 years to destroy Clinton’s balanced budget surplus. 8 years to run the nation into the ground as he ginned up two wars on top of it all prior to having occur on his watch a nightmare of a terrorist attack on the nation.

We have been listening to the Romney As A American Confidence Man by stating that even though he has been trying to reach across the aisle to the Party of NO to quicken the nation’s recovery. Romney believes that the Party of NO in spite of being a Party of Jihadis working against a recovery because they have pledged to disrupt Obama’s presidency at all costs. This is what was declared by-- the GOP’s Wizard of Oz Scarecrow---Mitch McConnell on network television. They have had no desire to participate in any national recovery if it doesn’t include the reduction of business regulations or huge tax cuts for the 1%. This response does not indicate any effort for bipartisan decisions.

As we head toward our presidential election in about 60 days, we hear from Slick Mitt and Paulnochccio that Obama doesn’t deserve a second term because he did not deliver enough jobs to the country even though they and their party were not engaged in the process of creating an environment for jobs to grow. They stood in the way at every Congressional vote.

It is very interesting that the Party of NO had no problem supporting the failed GOP presidency of LilBoyBush after 4 years of zero net job growth, a massive and mounting debt, the continuation of his government borrowing from China to support his war machine, the outsourcing of jobs, and much, much more.

Yet now, we hear that Obama just did not deliver jobs fast enough for the Grand Obstructionist Party of NO; therefore, he must go and Romney/Ryan must step in. How odd that they and the supporters of LilBoyBush were very willing to give “W” his second term to further move the nation into added debt, more war, as we stepped closer to a massive economic meltdown freezing credit markets, losing middle class savings, destruction of housing prices, and the near collapse of our financial institutions.

The majority of the American people were willing to give that failed GOP president a second term to add to more failure, yet those same people are not willing to give a president who has saved American jobs, improved the jobs picture---building jobs, although modestly, as opposed to losing 800,000 jobs per month.

Currently, we are seeing a slow, yet steady job growth: 29 straight months of job growth. This is not good enough for the Grand Obstructionist Party of NO. How funny!! In just under 4 years, Barack Obama has begun to turn the economic picture around in spite of the pledge by the GOP to stand in his way at every turn. Obama did it in spite of THEM!!! And now, they are whining about it. They are crying about it. They are tantruming about it. Boo Hoo is their election message.

It took Bain and Company nearly the same amount of time that LilBoyBush took to destroy the country’s economy to destroy their own economy (of Bain and Company) and now, Romney wants US to believe he can do better than Obama? What a laugh. The only way Romney and company could save their economy was for a bailout.

I do believe that Obama deserves a second term just on the principle that LilBoyBush received a second term in order to further destroy the nation. Obama deserves a second term just because he has been improving the nation. His plan requires the same amount of time it took LilBoy to destroy the nation in order to improve and heal the wounds of the nation.

There is nothing wrong with that simple request!

We have heard from conservative talking heads that one reason why the unemployment rate was low was because of the lower demand for natural gas. This resulted in a job loss for drilling and fracking seasonal jobs. I heard from one “head” that what we need is more use of natural gas for the use of a surface fuel.

Surface fuel---humm. How does that happen unless we have government stimulus and intervention to begin using natural gas vehicles as government fleet vehicles. This would spur more sales and service, as well as natural gas pump stations especially around larger populated regions. This sounds like bigger government from the mouth of a smaller government, the debt is too big, GOPster.

Also, I heard David Brooks talk about the Obama acceptance speech, as well as the overall production of the DNC event. He said that he wanted to hear more about a big Obama plan for the next four years, but he was disappointed that such a presentation was not spoken about. Hey David--have you heard any “big plan” from Mitt Romney? How about a reasonable plan, for that matter. Not a thing.

Brooks said that those with college degrees are fairing pretty well in the job market, but for those without a degree, they are suffering and they need job skill training.

Hey David, what have you heard from Slick Mitt about such a program? Nothing but that government is too big and government programs need to shrink. President Obama spoke about the need for training workers for the new job market. How do we train workers in this nation for skills they lack but need? I guess it happens through government intervention and a jobs skills stimulus package. That means more government spending. David is a moderate conservative Republican and realizes that government needs to play a significant role in job training development; therefore, more spending; therefore, more tax revenue.

The hypocrisy by the GOPsters when speaking about jobs and job training, they seem not to be able to make up their minds how this gets done. They have no plan. They have no ideas. They have no vision. They lack leadership qualities. All they have are stale, old, Cold War ideas and visions.

What is heard from right-wingers is that the Democrats need to stop blaming Bush for what Obama has not done. This doesn’t make a bit of sense.

If we are believe them, then we are to have ignored the rise of Nazi regime back in the 1920s for their creation of World War II, and its aftermath. Such deniers want us to forget the fact that Bush ignored the data and recommendations from the Clinton administration prior to 9/11, and its aftermath in its Domino Affect that led the nation into a prolonged recession.

If the deniers could have their way, then we should ignore that the banksters and lenders brewed up strategies to sell the American people and the world the same shady financial securities and debt obligations time and time again leveraging out each transaction with little to no collateral ultimately creating the worst economic collapse since the Great Depression.

If the deniers had their way, we would ignore that Bush borrowed trillions of dollars from China taking a Clinton budget surplus and making it a budget deficit in order to finance two wars and a war machine without raising taxes.

The deniers want all of us to forgetaboutit when it comes to Obama’s struggle to create more jobs than he already has and lower our debt.

How interesting that neither George W. Bush or Dick Cheney spoke at the GOP convention, let alone attend. If these two horrible people were so important to the deniers, then where were they? They were asked NOT TO ATTEND because everyone knows just how terrible they were and how responsible they were to the conditions of the country today.

If the last president and vice-president were so significant, they why didn’t the GOP convention speakers talk about how important it was for the Republican Congress to have supported their destructive agenda, which contributed to the conditions of the nation, at this time?

The truth of the matter is that it is relevant and significant to the discussion of why it has been difficult for Obama to repair such a damaged economy in just four years. No one can ignore the ills of the past administration unless those deniers want to lie to themselves—again.

Now, here is the latest from Slick Mitt the FlipFlopper. He actually had one of his aides tell America that the marketplace will take care of those with pre-existing conditions.

Here is the quote: "[I]n a competitive environment, the marketplace will make available plans that include coverage for what there is demand for," the aide said. Is Romney totally insane? Is he so far gone into the realm of sociopathology that he has no real sense of reality? I believe that is true.

We have a program for seniors called Medigap, which was created under LilBoyBush in 2006. It is provided by private health insurance companies. Over these years, the price has increased in spite of its existence in the free marketplace world of Mitt Romney. What we will see if Romney is elected a major increase in health care costs being paid by the citizen, as he erodes Medicare.

The only reality for Mitt Romney is the reality of corporate takeovers, leveraged buyouts, and big profits for the 1%. He knows nothing, absolutely nothing else. He has made is own living doing just that. He drains the average person of his wealth in order to transfer that wealth up to the 1%.

It appears to be very clear- President Obama is the only choice for the next four years. The other choice has nothing.

Mitt Romney Didn’t Build That—The FDIC Did!

Mitt Romney continues to portray himself as a gifted businessman; but is he? Slick Mitt appears to have enjoyed Bain and Company’s bailout by the FDIC when the company was on its way to bankruptcy! Yes, bankruptcy.

The owner of the company Bill Bain and his top executives drained the company of most of its capital assets, stealing them for their own greedy desires sending the business into a tailspin. That is when Bain decided to have Slick Mitt come to the rescue with a plan. And that plan was to scam the FDIC into a bailout, ultimately hitting on the taxpayers through bank fees for the cash and a Bain bonus bonanza.

In Rolling Stone’s September 13, 2012 edition, Matt Taibbi (MT), one of the nation’s best investigative print reporters, and Tim Dickinson (TD) wrote terrific pieces on the Romney bailout of Bain and Company. This post will summarize and extract pieces from those great articles. I will use my copy of the magazine to reference the story of just how Mitt Romney never built that, which he believes is IT.

To take a phrase from Bill Clinton: “ It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘that’ is.

Mitt Romney never built anything in his life. What he created were the very financial smoke and mirrors transactions that brought this nation’s economy to its knees leading up to the Great Recession of 2007-8. Had the FDIC not stepped in offering a bailout of the business, it would have gone into bankruptcy leaving investors holding worth-less paper sending Slick Mitt, and Paulnocchio to look from the outside into the Tampa RNC convention hall wishing they could be there, too.

Instead of building cars, as his father did, and airplanes, tractors, machines, and products as other Americans have done, Slick Mitt built swaps, collateralized debt obligations, and other toxic financial products to sell to rich customers. Instead of building new companies, in order to make a product made by American workers, for American consumers, he took out massive bank loans and used them to acquire existing firms, liquidating every asset in sight and leaving the target companies holding the debt. (MT)

As we all recall, it were similar shysters dressed in Romney outfits bringing $2-3 million dollar bonuses for selling crap to managers managing retiree retirement funds, and mortgages that sent the economy into a nosedive. And, Romney was a symbol of it, as well as an actor on the stage of immorality. Romney was a takeover artist who now wants to takeover the White House in order to takeover the process which would likely spin the nation into another Great Recession.

What Matt Taibbi found out was that in spite of the hocus-pocus financially destructive takeovers that Bain Capital engaged in, they, nevertheless, made lots of money for their investors between 1984 to 1998. Had those same investors invested in the stock market, they would have come out earning the same returns—somewhere around 30% per year.

The only ones who profited in a big way from all the job-killing debt that Romney leveraged were Mitt and his buddies at Bain, along with Wall Street firms like Goldman and Citigroup. Barry Ritzholtz, author of Bailout Nation, says the criticisms of Bain about layoffs and meanness misses a more important point, which is that the firm’s profit producing record is mediocre, especially when set against all the trouble and pain its business model caused. (MT)

Here is a sample of Romney’s business model:

“A private equity firm like Bain typically seeks out floundering businesses with good cash flows. It then puts down a relatively small amount of its own money and runs to a big bank like Goldman Sachs or Citigroup for the rest of the financing.  (Most leveraged buyouts are financed with 60 to 90 percent borrowed cash.) The takeover firm then uses that borrowed money to buy a controlling stake in the target company, either with or without its consent. When an LBO is done without the consent of target, it’s called a hostile takeover.

Romney and Bain avoided the hostile approach, preferring to secure the cooperation of their takeover targets by buying off a company’s management with lucrative bonuses. Once management is on board, the rest is just math. So if the target company is worth $500 million, Bain might put down $20 million of its own cash, then borrow $350 million from an investment bank to take over a controlling stake.

But here is the catch. When Bain borrows all of that money from the bank, it’s the target company that ends up on the hook for all of the debt.

Now, your troubled firm—let’s say you make tricycles in Alabama—has been taken over by a bunch of slick Wall Street dudes who kicked in as little as five percent as a down payment. So in addition to whatever problems you had before, Tricycle Inc. now owes Goldman or Citigroup $350 million. With all that new debt service to pay, the company’s bottom line is suddenly untenable. You almost have to start firing people immediately just to get your costs down to a manageable level.” (MT)

And, the interest payments just drain the profits right out of the company.

“Fortunately, the geniuses at Bain who now run the place are there to help tell you whom to fire. And for the service it performs cutting your company’s costs to help you pay off the massive debt that it, Bain, saddled your company with in the first place, Bain naturally charges a management fee, typically millions of dollars a year. So Tricycle Inc. now has two gigantic new burdens it never had before Bain Capital stepped into the picture: tens of millions in annual debt service, and millions more in “management fees.” Since the initial acquisition of Tricycle Inc. was probably greased by promising the company’s upper management lucrative bonuses, all that pain inevitably comes out of just one place: the benefits and payroll of the hourly workforce.

Once all that debt is added, one of the two things can happen. The company can fire workers and slash benefits to pay off all its new obligations to Goldman Sachs and Bain, leaving it ripe to be resold by Bain at a huge profit. Or it can go bankrupt—this happens [with] seven percent of all private equity buyouts – leaving behind one or more shuttered factory towns. Either way, Bain wins. By power-sucking cash value from even the most rapidly dying firms, private equity raiders like Bain almost always get their cash out before a target goes belly up.” (MT)

This is what Slick Mitt meant when he said in his presidential nomination acceptance speech that, “I will help your family.”

What Mitt Romney has done is to ‘saddle companies with nightmarish debt and assign the crushing interest payments not to Bain but to the children of the company’s workers and their children who would be left holding the financial note long after Slick Mitt said his good-byes.’ (MT)

“Which brings us to another aspect of Romney’s business career that has largely been hidden from voters: His personal fortune would not have been possible without the direct assistance of the U.S. government. The taxpayer-funded subsidies that Romney has received go well beyond the humdrum, backdoor, welfare-sucking that all supposedly self-made free marketers inevitably indulge in.” Romney siphoned off an incredible $1.5 billion in aid from the U.S. Treasury as head of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake—a sum greater than all federal spending for the previous seven U.S. Olympic games combined. Romney, the supposedly fiscal conservative, blew through an average of $625,000 in taxpayer money per athlete—an astounding increase of 5,582 percent over the $11,000 average at the 1984 games in Los Angeles. In 1993, right as he was preparing to run for the Senate, Romney also engineered a government deal worth at least $10 million for Bain’s consulting firm, when it was teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.”

And, don’t forget that without a provision in the federal [tax] code, companies like Bain would not be allowed to deduct the interest on the debt they use to acquire and loot their targets. (MT) So, Mitt, did you actually build that? Or, did the government give you some help along the way?

Speaking of help along the way, let us now explore how the FDIC bailed out Bain. Government documents on the bailout obtained by Rolling Stone magazine showed that the legend crafted by Romney that he was a success in business is basically a lie. Bain and Company was actually a disaster around November 1993, leaving the firm so financially strapped that it had “no value as a going concern,” as was reported in the documents. Even worse, the federal bailout ultimately engineered by Romney screwed the FDIC out of at least $10 million. And, in an added insult Romney rewarded top executives at Bain with hefty bonuses at the very moment that he was demanding his handout from the Feds. (TD)

Romney’s firm owed the government $30 million in bailout money, but he manipulated the FDIC and others so badly that he only paid back a small portion. Here is how it all came down:

“The FDIC agreed to accept nearly $5 million in cash to retire $15 million in Bain’s debt—an immediate government bailout of $10 million. All told, the FDIC estimated it would recoup just $14 million of the $30 million that Romney’s firm owed the government. In other words, the bailout negotiated by Romney ultimately wound up being paid by the American people through higher fees charged by banks because the FDIC had to recoup bailout losses through charging banks higher insurance premiums.

How ironic that “a banner at MittRomney.com declared WE HAVE A MORAL RESPONSIBILITY NOT TO SPEND MORE THAN WE TAKE IN. (TD)

When it comes to presidents who improved the economy of the nation, we can look at those who dedicated their lives not to business in the private sector, but to those who dedicated their lives to working in the public sector: FDR, JFK, Bill Clinton, and Dwight D. Eisenhower. When we look to presidents who were in the business of business, and ended up damaging or destroying the economy, we can look directly to Herbert Hoover, George Herbert Walker Bush, and LilboyBush, all of who were involved either in finance, or big oil. Now we have Slick Mitt, who touts his expertise in business, which is beginning to prove that Emperor Wannabee has no clothes. He had to beg for a bailout of Bain and Company; and, he out spent other Olympic committee chairmen, while portraying himself as a fiscal conservative.

Now, we are reading that Bain is being investigated by the Attorney General of New York for possible tax fraud. Hum—is Slick Mitt really qualified to be president? Slick Mitt accuses President Obama for not being qualified to be president because he had no business experience, yet it appears that Mitt’s qualifications don’t give him any bragging rights whatsoever. Actually, it seems he was a slight-of-hand financial artist. Hey Mitt, show us your tax returns? Let the American people see for themselves what kind of business person you actually were.

What this bit of hypocrisy indicates is that Mitt Romney is a full-blown sociopath. He makes the rules fit for him at the expense of other, including the entire nation. Mitt Romney has no moral code. He has no ethical code. He portrays himself as a religious person, but he fails to follow the guiding principles of morality and ethical integrity that such a true believer would follow.

Mitt Romney is basically a scorched Earth, one-dimensional fake.

A reason for all of this could be found by listening to this podcast on “limits”.

In the final discussion of the show, they were discussing if the mind has limits to retain data, and if the mind can capture insight into that data.

It is my opinion that Mitt Romney lacks total insight in the struggles of middle and lower income families. He has absolutely no insight into the problems of real people. He only sees the world in turns of winning and losing. It is an either/or phenomenon. A black and white viewpoint. The GOP aligns with the Romney perspective---no insight in the real struggles and plight of the 99%.

This is what makes Obama different from Romney and his followers. We are in trouble!!
